Peter Canova is an Arizona native who received both a bachelor’s degree in history and a Juris Doctor from Arizona State University. During law school, Peter worked as a legal research assistant with the legal team of a national billboard advertising company, interned with the Rules Office of the Arizona State Senate, and externed with the Arizona Department of Transportation’s administrative law judges.
Peter spent just shy of two years working as an Attorney Adviser for the Social Security Administration writing disability hearing decisions for the administrative law judges. After a brief stint as a personal injury and commercial litigation attorney, Peter returned to the Social Security disability realm on the claimants’ side and has guided hundreds of clients from all walks of life through disability hearings. He utilizes his unique background as a former employee of the Social Security Administration to assist individuals at all levels of the Social Security disability process, including during the initial application process, Administrative Law Judge Hearings, and before the Appeals Council, to help them obtain the benefits they deserve.
